Elmo “Moe” L. Danskin, RM2 - Enlisted 14 July 1943. “Booted” in Farragut, Idaho NTC. Advanced schooling (radioman) at University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho. Shipped out on the USS Washington from Bremerton, Washington as a radioman.

Reluctantly but willfully served in Korea 4/5/51 to 8/3/52. Served as radioman (RM2) aboard minesweeps USS Chatterer (AMS 40) and USS Mainstay (AM 261).E.L Daskin Dogtag

Married 1949. Four sons and one daughter.

After the war was employed by the U.S. Post Office; Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co.(Petaluma, CA); self-employed from 1963-1968 owned Dairy Belle Freeze franchise (Sonoma, CA); retired from American Telephone & Telegraph Company, Dublin, California.

Died July 1992, Dublin, CA (cancer); devout Christian and a proud & patriotic veteran.
